Q&A about Our Qurbani Activities
1.How much are the Qurbani prices?
The share price for large cattle Qurbani to be performed in African countries is 4,300 TRY.
2.What are the differences between Adak, Akika, Shukr, and Sadaqah Qurbani?
In all types of Qurbani, the most important condition is that the animal should meet the necessary criteria for Qurbani and be sacrificed for the pleasure of Allah. It is important for the donor to have the intention when making the donation.
Adak Qurbani: This is a Qurbani that is made obligatory upon someone due to a vow they made, such as "If this event happens, I will offer a Qurbani." Once the vow is fulfilled, it becomes obligatory to perform the sacrifice. Adak Qurbani can be slaughtered directly by the person or by appointing someone else as their representative. However, the person who made the vow, their children, and parents cannot consume this Qurbani; the most virtuous action is distributing it to those in need.
Akika Qurbani: This is a Qurbani performed by someone who has had a child, as a way of thanking Allah. There is no specific time for it, but it is recommended to be done within a certain period after the birth or, if possible, at the most suitable time.
Shukr Qurbani: This is a Qurbani performed to express gratitude for a blessing.
Sadaqah Qurbani: This is a Qurbani performed by someone intending to gain reward from Allah, help others, and protect themselves from difficulties.
3.How can I give my Qurbani as a representative?
When you make a Qurbani donation, you are considered to have given your representative as well, because the essence of the representative is the intention and will. By sending your donation to have your Qurbani performed, you are considered to have given your representative, so there is no need to express it verbally.
4.What do you pay attention to when determining the Qurbani regions and carrying out the activities?
Our Qurbani activities for Adak, Akika, Shukr, and Sadaqah are carried out in African countries. As with all our activities, we focus on reaching orphans and those in need in areas with difficult living conditions, ensuring your donations reach those who need it most.
5.How can I learn that my Qurbani has been slaughtered?
Once the Qurbani is completed, we will send a notification via SMS to the phone number you provided at the time of donation, informing you that the Qurbani has been slaughtered.
6.Do you send photos and videos of the Qurbani slaughter?
Yes, we send images of the slaughtered Qurbani to the donors within one week via SMS or email.
7.How long does it take to perform the Qurbani I donated?
Qurbani sacrifices begin after the Eid prayer on the first day of Eid and are completed by the third day of Eid. The images of your Qurbani will reach you within one week via SMS or email.
8.How do you determine the Qurbani prices?
The share fees are determined by collecting the prices of Qurbani animals from various suppliers in the regions where we will carry out the activities. We also consider exchange rates, organizational costs, distribution, and logistics expenses.
9.Why is making a Qurbani donation important?
We carry out our Qurbani activities in the poor neighborhoods of Turkey and in African countries, delivering your kindness to households in need. While helping our donors fulfill their Qurbani worship, we also bring joy to orphaned and undernourished children who rarely receive meat in their homes throughout the year.
10.Is it possible to donate a Qurbani from abroad?
Yes. You can make your donation by filling out the online donation form on our website and paying by credit card. Additionally, you can transfer your donation via SWIFT to our bank accounts. The USD, EUR, and GBP accounts at Albaraka Türk Participation Bank listed on the "Donate" page of our website are exempt from transaction fees for SWIFT transfers.
11.Which bank account can I send my Qurbani donation to?
If you want to send your Qurbani donation via bank transfer / EFT, please don't forget to include the shareholder's full name and phone number for SMS notifications in the description section. (The share fee for Qurbani donations in Africa is 4,300 TRY.)
