  We carry out the slaughter of your qurbani animals (Adaq, Akika, Shukr, or Sadaqa) on your behalf and deliver them to poor households in the villages of Africa. Throughout the year, we join the joy of orphaned and needy children, who face severe malnutrition and rarely have meat in their homes, by supporting them with your donations.

  How does the qurbani slaughter process work?

• Donors can transfer the price of their share via bank transfer, EFT, online payment with a credit card, or by personally visiting our association's office to deliver the donation in person.
• The qurbani animals are purchased by İyilikhane according to the criteria required for the sacrifice ritual in the regions where we operate. The qurbani animals are slaughtered in accordance with Islamic procedures. The slaughtered Adaq, Akika, Shukr, or Sadaqa qurbani sacrifices are divided into shares and distributed to those in need.
• Once the slaughter is complete, our association sends a notification to the donors via SMS informing them that the qurbani has been carried out. Photos of the slaughtered animal are sent to the donors via SMS or email within one week, in sequence.

• How can I make my qurbani donation?

• You can send your qurbani donation by filling out the online donation form at the top of this page and paying with your credit card.

  1. What are the differences between Adaq, Akika, Shukr, and Sadaqa qurbanis?

  The essential condition for all types of qurbani is that the animal must meet the conditions required for sacrifice and be slaughtered with the intention of pleasing Allah.

• Adaq qurbani is a sacrifice made with the intention of fulfilling a vow. It is not obligatory unless the person vows it for a specific event or circumstance, like saying, "If this happens, I will make a sacrifice." Once the condition is fulfilled, the qurbani becomes obligatory. The qurbani can be done directly by the person or delegated to someone else. However, the person who makes the vow, their children, and their parents cannot consume this qurbani. The most virtuous act is to distribute the Adaq qurbani to those in need.
• Akika qurbani is a recommended qurbani that a person with a newborn child makes as a way of showing gratitude. There is no specific time for it, but it is recommended to perform it sometime after the birth or at the earliest possible opportunity.
• Shukr qurbani is a sacrifice made to express gratitude for a blessing or favor received.
• Sadaqa qurbani is a sacrifice made for the sake of gaining reward, helping others, and seeking protection from trials, with the intention of pleasing Allah.

How can I give my proxy for the qurbani?

When you make a qurbani donation, you are automatically giving a proxy. In the case of a proxy, the intention and will are what matter. Once you send your donation for the qurbani, you have already granted your proxy, so there is no need to express it verbally as well.

     We carry out our Adaq, Akika, Shukr, and Sadaqa qurbani activities in the needy villages of Africa/Tanzania. As with all our activities, we aim to reach orphaned and needy children and families in regions with difficult living conditions, ensuring that your donations reach those in need.
  2. How can I learn that my proxy qurbani has been slaughtered?
     Once the qurbani has been completed, we send a notification via SMS to the phone number you provided when making your donation.
  3. Do you send photos and videos of the slaughter?
     Yes. We send you photos of the slaughtered animal within one week of your donation, via SMS or email.
  4. How long does it take for the qurbani animal I donated to be slaughtered?
     The slaughter of your donated animal usually takes place within two days, and in some cases, depending on the regional conditions, it may take up to one week. The photos of the slaughtered animal will reach you via SMS or email within one week.
  5. How do you determine the price of the qurbani?
     We determine the share prices by obtaining prices from various suppliers in the regions where we operate. We also factor in exchange rate differences, organizational, distribution, and logistical costs.

     We carry out our Eid qurbani programs in Turkey's poor neighborhoods and the villages of Africa, delivering your goodness to those in need.      Yes. You can fill out the online donation form in the "Make a Donation" section of our website and donate with your credit card. You can also send your donation via bank transfer using SWIFT. Our USD, EUR, and GBP currency accounts at Albaraka Türk Participation Bank are exempt from transaction fees for SWIFT transfers.
